Arrival at Azores
São Miguel Airport and Transfer In to the Hotel
We begin our trip when arriving at São Miguel Airport, the airport name is Ponta Delgada Airport – João Paulo II. Out staff will guide to your bus and your luggage goes straight to the chosen hotel. During the transfer, your guide will let you in on some interesting details about the region and give you some tips on the best places to go on your free time.
Welcome dinner at the hotel
Upon arrival at the destination, the group checks into the hotel and has time to relax and settle in. In the evening, everyone gathers for a welcome dinner, a warm and inviting meal designed for socializing and getting acquainted with the program for the days ahead.

The most remarkable tour at the island is definitely the Western side of São Miguel. Here you can admire not only the western part of the island, but also one of São Miguel’s highlights: SETE CIDADES! Lots of photo taking opportunities.

The most remarkable tour at the island is definitely the Western side of São Miguel. Here you can admire not only the western part of the island, but also one of São Miguel’s highlights: SETE CIDADES! Lots of photo taking opportunities. You will have a king’s view over Sete Cidades and you can admire the margins of this beautiful crater lake. The whole tour is a postcard where this unforgettable lake is to be seen over different perspectives, as well as a beautiful scenery over the narrowest part of the island. The lunch will be served in a restaurant in Ponta Delgada city, and then, the departure for the Airport.

Since its inception, when the establishment was founded in 1908, the intention was clear to create a restaurant that could provide and better serve the Region. Since then, and until today, this remains their main goal. Besides the exceptional and unique “Alcides Steak”, recognized by all great meat lovers, you will find fresh fish daily and a varied menu of typical dishes of our region.

The heart of the island of São Miguel is an unforgettable tour! Departure from the Hotel heading to the north coast of the island to visit the city of Ribeira Grande and its surroundings. In Ribeira Seca we will make a short stop at a Renaissance fountain, which bears witness to times past.
NOTE – Activity for a maximum of 50 people at a time. The group is divided into sub-groups A and B, with part going jeep riding and the other part whale watching on day 3, and making the switch to day 4.
Day 3 | Experience
4×4 jeep ride to Fogo Lake
The heart of the island of São Miguel is an unforgettable tour! Departure from the Hotel heading to the north coast of the island to visit the city of Ribeira Grande and its surroundings. In Ribeira Seca we will make a short stop at a Renaissance fountain, which bears witness to times past. Arriving at the city center, we will already perceive the baroque architecture of the 17th and 18th century buildings, of which we will visit the most important ones, in a short walk. Before leaving the city, a stop to enjoy a beautiful volcanic sand beach. Taking now the mountain road we continue to the interior of the island with a visit Caldeira Velha Thermal Garden, a thermal area surrounded by vegetation. The ride continues to one of the Seven Natural Wonders of Portugal – the Lagoa do Fogo. Return descending the mountain towards the south coast seaside, to the place where a personalized picnic will be served to the guests.

After the catamaran ride, transport continues to the place where a personalized picnic will be served to the guests.
